Chelsea A. Combs, Physician Assistant – Certified
Raised in the small town of Acton, TX, Chelsea Combs, PA-C was moved out of her comfort zone to Nagoya, Japan at age 13. After living there for 2 years, she had obtained a love of travel and an ambition to go into a field related to science. Chelsea was introduced to the PA profession while shadowing medical professionals in college. While attending Austin College in Sherman, she again had the opportunity to travel abroad. She learned Spanish while attending university in Costa Rica for 6 months, and specifically focused on medical Spanish in rural Mexico working with a physician for a month. After graduating with a degree in Chemistry, she went to PA school, graduating from Baylor College of Medicine PA program in 2008. Chelsea worked for eight years at Dell Children’s Medical Center with the craniofacial and reconstructive plastic surgeons rotating in the hospital, clinic and as a surgical assist during that time. Chelsea then acted as Clinical Director for Craniofacial Team of Texas for 3 years during which time she developed a love for helping to treat newborns with congenital ear deformities with EarWell. She is excited to join the EarWell Centers of Excellence to provide consistently excellent care to families with newborns. When not at work, she enjoys going on adventures with her husband and 2 little girls. She loves running, dancing, and, of course, traveling.
